For years I was stuck in a dieting limbo. I tried everything from the vegetarian diet to the cabbage soup diet (yuck!) and everything in between. In my younger years, I was a model. I’ve posed for magazine print ads, have been on television, and have even strut my stuff down some of the most famous catwalks in the world. I may have lived an extraordinary life, but I’ve fought all the same ordinary issues that almost all women face – mainly weight issues.
Obviously, in my line of work, weight is everything. Unfortunately, I wasn’t blessed with the high metabolism that a lot of my fellow models had. If I so much looked at a slice of pizza, I’d gain 2lbs. To be honest, I was never much for exercise – like most women, I simply didn’t have the time or energy to hit the gym every day.
