From The Desk Of Carolyn Hansen (Certified Fitness Instructor) Hello, my name is Carolyn Hansen, and before I tell you about what I believe to be the most reliable, scientifically-grounded, and easy-to-implement fat loss system in existence today, I want to impress upon you the idea that I am not some anonymous ghost writer who has put together yet another publication in the long saga of weight loss vehicles that promise the Earth but just don’t seem to deliver results even though you may have carefully followed their misguided teachings. Most people who do not play competitive soccer think that there is no need for them to learn how to improve their soccer skills – but at the same time, most parents have children who play soccer, and it is always beneficial to know how to help these children improve, and what’s more, most adults are always on the lookout for something “fun” that they can do (for something to get them away from responsibilities and from “being an adult” for a bit!), and organizing an indoor soccer team is always a great idea!
Many soccer players and teams end up neglecting defense, but this is a poor way to approach soccer, as defense is actually just important as offense if you are hoping to win! Lots of people try to play the ball instead of playing the person when they are on defense, which is a big mistake; while the person you are guarding might be doing all sorts of fancy stuff with their feet, you will always be able to stop them if you are making sure that you are paying attention to their body, keeping them in front of you at all times!
Passing the ball is another big part of soccer; a team that can pass the ball well is a team that will always have a chance to win, and the best way to improve your passing skills is to get in the habit of passing to a spot, instead of passing to a person.
And of course, it is difficult to win soccer games if no one on your team knows how to shoot; most people have a tendency to lean back too much when they shoot, and this causes the ball to soar high above the net. Shooting a soccer ball is actually more about placement than power, so keep your body low over the ball, and work on shooting the ball into a spot – acting as if you are “passing the ball into the net” – and you will soon find that you have no problem scoring!
If you are the sort of person who enjoys backpacking (or who dreams of enjoying backpacking!), you probably are also the sort of person who is constantly on the lookout for adventure – and when it comes to looking for adventure, what could be a better place to look than Australia! Every year, people fly from all over the world to take an epic backpack trip through Australia, but before you go ahead and take this trip yourself, here are a few things for you to make sure you know.
Plan in advance: For a typical backpacking trip, you have a bit of leeway in simply heading out and planning as you go along, but if you are going to go to Australia, you need to do a bit of planning; after all, a trip to Australia will require you to have more than just a passport and a backpack!
Know the country: You will need to make sure you know the rules and customs of Australia before you go, and you should also know where you will be going; after all, Australia is a big country, and you will want to make sure you can leave at some point, no matter how much you might be enjoying yourself!
Pack accordingly: The weather in Australia varies greatly – not just from season to season, but even within the same day – so you will need to make sure you pack in such a way that you will be prepared for anything, and you will need to do this in such a way that you can still carry your pack around.
Be smart: Being smart while backpacking through Australia is not strictly confined to avoiding wrestling matches with crocodiles (although that is certainly on the list!), but it also includes such things as drinking lots of water while you are on the trails, applying sunscreen regularly, and keeping your head protected with a wide-brimmed hat.
When you follow these tips, you will be that much closer to having a successful Australia backpacking adventure; then, it will simply be up to you to make the most of this long-lasting memory!
