We all have different motivations for getting fit and I have never met a person who doesn’t want to be fit and look great. This is where I can help.

My name is Matt Straight, an international fitness trainer, nutritionist, and creator of the Fitness HC’s 12 week body transformation system.

For many years I struggled with my weight and I know firsthand how being overweight can affect your confidence, your health, your relationships, the way society sees you and ultimately, how it affects your overall quality of life. So, 12 years ago I decided to arm myself with the knowledge I needed to get in shape, be healthier and change my life for the better.

I began working in the fitness industry in 1999, as a fitness instructor. Along the way I have done some acting on mainstream TV programs in New Zealand and some TV commercials and I have even modeled sportswear.

In 2003, I completed a certificate in nutrition at the Auckland Institute of Technology. I started prescribing specific nutrition to his clients to help them accelerate their results.

I have also earned certification as a master trainer and have had the chance to educate others to become personal trainers themselves. I have managed gym clubs in Cebu, Manila, India, and Australia.

Now I’m not here to tell you that losing weight is easy, because it’s not. It takes a real commitment and the right knowledge to make it happen.

If you are not eating the right balance of food and burning more calories than you are consuming, you will not lose weight. And if you are burning too many calories and not eating enough food, you will not lose weight.

You know, it’s hard to kick a goal if you don’t know where the goal posts are and no one has even shown you how to kick a ball. So my mission is to give you the tools to understand your body and learn how to trick it into letting go of unwanted body fat. And this is why I have developed the 12 week body transformation system. To simplify losing weight into a comprehensive, very specific but easy to follow program that will help you burn fat and get you in the best shape of your life.
